Affiliate Program Terms
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
These terms govern your participation in the ParseStream affiliate program. They are written to be readable — if anything here is unclear, email us at support@parsestream.com and we will answer plainly. By signing up as an affiliate you agree to these terms and to the ParseStream Terms of Use.
1. Program Overview and Eligibility
The ParseStream affiliate program lets you earn commission for referring new paying customers to ParseStream. It is free to join and there is no audience minimum. You do not need to be a ParseStream customer to participate.
- You sign up through our affiliate portal at parsestream.promotekit.com, which is operated on our behalf by PromoteKit. Approval is instant and your referral link works immediately.
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
- Instant approval is a convenience, not a guarantee of acceptance. We may refuse an application, or suspend or remove an affiliate account, at our discretion — for example where promotion methods breach section 4, where the account appears fraudulent, or where the association would damage the ParseStream brand. Where we remove an account for reasons other than fraud, commissions already validly earned are still paid.
- You are an independent participant, not an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer of ParseStream, and you may not sign agreements, make commitments or incur liabilities on our behalf.
2. Commission Structure
- You earn 30% of every subscription payment a referred customer makes during their first 12 months as a paying customer. After 12 months, commission on that customer stops; each new referral starts its own 12-month window.
- Attribution is first-touch with a 60-day cookie. When someone clicks your referral link, a cookie is set for 60 days; if they subscribe within that window, the referral is credited to you. Where a person has clicked more than one affiliate link, the first link clicked wins.
- Cookie-based tracking is not perfect. If a visitor blocks or clears cookies, switches device or browser, or subscribes after the 60-day window closes, the referral cannot be attributed and no commission is due.
- ParseStream includes a 3-day free trial. Commission is counted from the referral’s first paid invoice — a trial that never converts to a paid subscription earns nothing.
- Commission is calculated on the net amount ParseStream actually receives and keeps. It excludes VAT and other taxes, payment processing fees, discounts and credits applied to the invoice, and any amount that is later refunded or charged back. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from your commission balance.
- Commission is earned on subscription payments only, and does not apply to a customer who was already subscribed, already in trial or already in contact with our sales team before clicking your link.
- Commission is quoted and paid in US dollars. Any currency conversion or transfer fee charged by your payout provider is yours to bear.
3. Payouts
- Payouts are made monthly, once your confirmed commission balance reaches the $30 minimum.
- A balance below $30 is not lost — it rolls over and is paid out in the first month the threshold is met.
- We pay by PayPal or Wise. You are responsible for giving us accurate payout details and for keeping them current; we are not responsible for payments that fail or are misdirected because the details you provided were wrong.
- Commission is held until the underlying payment has cleared and is outside its refund and chargeback window, so a payout may lag the sale that produced it by a billing cycle.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on commission income, and for any tax filings or registrations required where you live. Commissions are paid gross.
- If an affiliate account has been inactive with an unclaimed balance for 12 months and we cannot reach you at the email on file, we may close the account and forfeit the remaining balance. We will email you before doing so.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following are not allowed. Commissions generated through any of them are void, and repeated or deliberate breaches will get your account removed from the program.
- Self-referral. Purchasing a ParseStream subscription through your own referral link, for yourself, your own company, or an account you control. Referring your own client is fine; referring yourself is not.
- Paid search bidding. Bidding on “ParseStream”, misspellings or close variants of it, or our product names in paid search or paid social, and running ads whose display URL is or imitates parsestream.com.
- Coupon and deal-site spam. Listing ParseStream on coupon, voucher or deal aggregators, or advertising discount codes we have not issued to you.
- Cookie stuffing. Setting referral cookies without a genuine, intentional click — including hidden iframes, auto-redirects, pop-unders, or any script that fires your link without the visitor choosing to follow it.
- Misleading claims. Inventing features, results, guarantees, pricing or customer counts; presenting yourself as ParseStream or as an official representative of it; or registering domains, social accounts or app listings that impersonate the brand.
- Spam. Unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited direct messages, mass automated posting, comment spam, or promotion in any community whose rules forbid it. Anything that breaks a platform’s terms of service or applicable anti-spam law is a breach of these terms too.
- Trademark misuse. Using ParseStream branding in a way that implies endorsement, partnership or ownership beyond an honest statement that you are an affiliate.
- Manipulating attribution. Any attempt to overwrite, forge or artificially generate referral tracking, including creating accounts or traffic solely to trigger commission.
5. Disclosure and Legal Compliance
- You must clearly disclose that you earn a commission whenever you promote ParseStream. In the US the FTC endorsement guidelines require this; comparable rules apply in the UK, the EU and elsewhere. A plain line such as “I earn a commission if you sign up through this link” is enough, placed where a reader will actually see it before clicking — not buried in a footer or behind a “more” toggle.
- Your promotion must comply with the laws that apply to you and to your audience, including advertising, consumer protection, email marketing and data protection law.
- Only make claims about ParseStream you can support from our public materials or from your own genuine experience with the product.
- Your content and traffic sources are your responsibility. You may not promote ParseStream alongside illegal, hateful, adult or otherwise harmful material.
6. Term and Termination
- Either of us may end your participation at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You can leave by closing your affiliate account or emailing us.
- On termination your referral link stops earning commission on new referrals. Commission validly earned before termination is paid on the next scheduled payout, subject to the $30 minimum and to refund and chargeback adjustments.
- Fraud is the exception: where an account is terminated for fraud, cookie stuffing, self-referral or another deliberate breach of section 4, unpaid commissions are forfeited and we may reclaim commissions already paid on the affected referrals.
- After termination you must stop using ParseStream branding and remove or clearly label any content presenting you as a current affiliate.
7. Changes to the Program
- We may change the commission rate, the commission window, the cookie duration, the payout threshold or these terms. Changes apply going forward only.
- Commission already earned is never reduced retroactively, and a referral already inside its 12-month window keeps the rate it was acquired under for the remainder of that window.
- We will give notice of material changes by email to the address on your affiliate account and by updating the date at the top of this page. Continuing to promote ParseStream after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
- We may also discontinue the affiliate program entirely. If we do, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and pay out commissions earned up to the closing date.
